PEACE Completes Construction from Pakistan to France

 


PEACE Cable International Network Co., Ltd (PEACE Cable)  completed the construction and installation of PEACE undersea fiber optic cable infrastructure in Pakistan with Cyber ​​Internet Services (Cybernet), a network and communications service provider. world-leading data. 

PEACE's Pakistan-Egypt segment has completed the final link, allowing the connection from Karachi, Pakistan to Marseille, France, ready to go live. 

PEACE The  Pakistan-Egypt section connects Karachi, Pakistan, and Zafarana, Egypt with a total length of 5,800 km. The  Karachi and Zafarana landings were completed in March and December 2021, respectively.  RFS in March 2022. Therefore, the route from Pakistan to France of the PEACE cable system has now been completed and is ready to be put into use. 

In 2019, the landing agreement was signed by Cybernet and PEACE Cable. Cybernet, PEACE's landing partner in Pakistan,  built the country's state-of-the-art cable landing station in Karachi, enabling global operators, content delivery networks (CDNs), content providers, and Almost all companies with IT services to exploit the capacity of underground cables at easily accessible connection points across Pakistan. 

Cybernet has the strongest fiber optic network in the country, which will also facilitate access and drive business opportunities for PEACE in the Asia region. 

With the deployment of the PEACE undersea cable system, Pakistan will have access to high-capacity, high-speed internet bandwidth with a fast connection to France. 

With its ultra-low latency design, this cable will reduce latency between Pakistan and France to 92 milliseconds. This will improve the response times of Internet-based applications and the Pakistani user experience while providing much-needed redundancy to Pakistan's Internet infrastructure. 

The increased capacity will eventually bring ultrafast broadband connections to  Pakistani citizens, with speeds comparable to cities like Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York. 

The PEACE cabling system connects Asia, Africa, and Europe, with strongholds connecting Pakistan, France, Egypt, and Kenya. The entire system implements a modern "system within a system" and uses advanced ROADM powered by WSS and Flexible Mesh, providing PoP-to-PoP solutions. 

PEACE has a capacity of up to 96T for the Pakistan - Egypt section and 192T for the Mediterranean section from Egypt to France. 

Meanwhile, PEACE is currently under construction for the Singapore Extension, which will extend the coverage of the PEACE Submarine Cable System to Southeast Asia and further enhance the network's network resource value. PEACE, forming a major connection between Eurasia. link channel  Singapore, the international switching center of Southeast Asia, and France,  the European transfer center.
